of a button, an OnStar Advisor is available to contact emergency services
for you. In a crash when the air bags deploy, OnStar receives a signal
and can call into your vehicle to see if you need help. If you don't answer,
the Advisor will immediately contact emergency services and give them
your exact location.
OnStar uses Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites
to locate a vehicle, and cellular technology to link a vehicle to OnStar.
At the OnStar Call Centers, Advisors offer real-time, personalized help
24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
OnStar now includes a staff of Spanish-speaking Advisors
and voice-recognition capabilities. Additional available OnStar Spanish
